Hello, my name is Alex. I am Italian and I live in the beautiful Portland, Oregon where I operate Vanport Furniture.
I grew up in Milan where I was exposed to the some of the best modern furniture designers and makers in the world.
After years working in different industries, I was able to go back to my passion, review all my sketches and build my furniture making shop.
What you see on this website, the products, are not supposed to be completely still: you can either buy what you see in the online store or contact me to build your custom project. Combinations of materials and design are endless!
I like to work on both indoor and outdoor furniture, personal or business projects. I specialize in hardwood and steel, but I love working with concrete, stone, leather and any other material that can your piece a favorite of your home.
